西洋結他之神 - Eric Clapton (3). 最愛是你(下)

愛情的魔力真偉大。
不管你認同與否，至少愛情這玩意令Eric Clapton創作了多首經典名曲。

如上回所言，Eric很多歌曲靈感(尤其在Derek & Dominos時期)都是來自他對Pattie Boyd的迷戀。他對Pattie的愛深得不可理喻，這份愛雖令他誤墮毒海，同時也令他創作出Layla，和Wonderful Tonight ── 小A認為沒有甚麼歌可以比這首更浪漫、更深情的了。

Eric苦苦守候的Pattie與George Harrison離婚後，終於答應了與Eric一起。這首歌是在1976年的某個晚上，Eric在等候Pattie出門參加Paul McCartney的宴會，看著正在化妝打扮的她，靈感乍現，便寫下了這帶著濃濃愛意的歌。

而這首歌在1979年3月28日──Eric與Pattie新婚翌日，Eric攜著Pattie到他的演出舞台上，把這首歌唱給她聽，這亦是Wonderful Tonight第一次出開演出。

“Is that you just don't realize how much I love you”,

我想這句女生聽到後無不被迷得暈頭轉向吧!

And I say "Yes, you look wonderful tonight"      我答道：「你今晚看起來真美！」

This beautiful lady that's walking around with me        盯著這位走在我身旁的美女
And then she asks me,                                                                       然後她問我：

"Do you feel all right?"                                                              「你覺得還好嗎？」
And I say "Yes, I feel wonderful tonight"         我回答說：「我今晚覺得好極了！」

Because I see the love light in your eyes              是因為我看到了你眼裡愛的光芒
And the wonder of it all                                                                        而且最棒的是

So I give her the car keys                                              於是，我把汽車鑰匙交給她

Eric苦等了她近10年，他試過把這感情壓抑住，也試過投射在其他女生身上(他甚至與Pattie的妹妹Paula搞上了)。
當Eric守得雲開，她做的一切，對Eric來說也是美麗的；Pattie在訪問中曾說過：「Clapton當時坐在一旁彈他的吉他，而我在樓上正試衣服。我實在是花了太長時間，我慌張的弄完頭髮穿好衣服收拾完之後，下樓時還想著他一定會責怪我的，但是他說'快聽'。在我收拾的時候，他已經寫就了這首歌。」

那對男生來說十分沉悶與不耐煩的等待過程，當你愛得像Eric一樣的時候，就變成了最美麗的瞬間。(只可惜他們最後卻未能白頭偕老。)


小A想，談戀愛未必需要帥氣的打扮、豐厚的財富、或甚麼花言巧語，最重要的，是一顆真誠不變的心(還有一支結他?) (為什麼我像在形容主腦兄?!)，讓自己每一次看著深愛的她，都能對她說：
